Q:

Need snap buttons for miter saw stand.... 22299

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

It is definitely frustrating when parts become discontinued with no direct replacement. If there were replacement snap buttons, they would have already been subbed into place. It doesn't appear there is anything that can replace the original parts.

The production of parts is based upon the demand. After about 10-15 years, if demand ceases for a certain part, the manufacturer will discontinue production. This stand was manufactured in 2003, so it is about 12 years of age.

You can try running online searches for part number F103 to see if there are any in circulation. If that is not viable, you will more than likely need to fabricate a fix.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Q:

How much does a membrane and control board for a Kenmore Microwave cost?

A:

Having a appliance not work can be a bit pricey to fix. When I want to know the price of a part I go onto the Sears Parts Direct website you can find prices on parts so you can get a quoting on how much you will spend if you buy and put on yourself or if you have a technician go out and help you. I have attached the link below if you are interested in viewing the website while waiting on your response from an expert. Hope this helps, good luck!

According to the parts diagram for your microwave the membrane comes with a new control panel. The parts list for your microwave shows 4 colors of control panels. You can go to www.searspartsdirect.com and select the control panel that matches your microwave.

The control panel and membrane are fairly simple to replace. Disconnect the power to the microwave and remove the screw at the top of the control panel to release it. You might need to remove the grill across the top of the microwave to access this screw. The control panel will pull out from the top and remove.

I have included the part number and price for a white control panel and membrane. If the electronic control board is bad I have included that price also. If the cost of parts exceeds $100.00 I would consider replacing the microwave.
