Q:

Cycle Knob on washer model 20022

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

The cycle (timer) knob should continually advance or move forward through all the cycles. It connects to the shaft of the control board on this model that acts as the timer. If the knob is not advancing properly, it could indicate an issue with the control. However, from your details, it sounds like everything is acting normally.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Q:

My New Kenmore won't wash/agitate, but fills, rinses, spins and drains. 110.20022

A:

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when having trouble with the washer not agitating

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Kenmore Washer model number 110.20022.

The item that causes the agitator to agitate is the 4 dog/clips at the top of the agitator.   When working there are these 4 dogs that agitate the clothes up and down.   Looks like you need a set of 4.   They come together as a package because you have to change all 4 at the same time if you want it agitating correctly.

Q:

My 3-week-old Kenmore Washer model 20022 shuts down a second or two after I turn it on

A:

Hi,

Thanks for contacting  ManageMyLife.  I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your appliance.

The motor does not sound like it is coming on.  Does the lid lock light show locked, indicating the lid is closed.  If it is on run the manual test and go to spin and agitate and test out the motor and the shifter.

Keep me posted on the results of the test.

Or you can have a Sears Holdings Corporation technician out to repair the washer.

Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. We are always here to help.

Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.
