Wade, The pages attached do not look like what I have. Here is a link to the parts and diagrams for my mower. The part I need to replace is #946-0440. I can see what to remove where the cable attaches on the drive control handle. I can see where it goes below the deck. It is underneath that I need help with as to if and what to remove to get to the point where it inserts. Thank you so much!! What does not match up? The mower in my photos is the same mower as the drawings you linked me to. the first page that I attached is looking at it from underneath the lawnmower.

Drawing attached. The nuts circled in red are what hold the baffle in place. Remove those 3 and then the baffle should pull down (front first) and come out.
