Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I can certainly understand how you would need the age of your Food disposer. I did do research and I do show that unit was made around 2004. To check if your unit has a warranty you would have to call 18004MYHOME so they can get your information and check if it does.  We are not able to check warranties on this site due to it being a public site.

Thank you for your question. I understand your concern about cleaning the rubber gasket. The only way to pull the rubber gasket off of this model, would be to, drop the disposal down. I would not recommend doing this. With most models the underside of the gasket can be cleaned with a small brush. Just use some warm water and detergent to clean it. I hope this will help you.
