Thank you for your question. I suspect you're referring to the plastic cover (# 168A in picture). If this is the part you're referring to, the glass (# 167B) will lift off and the plastic piece will fit under the glass on the tv tray (# 154). I hope this will help you. Sometimes replacing some parts can be a little tricky. To remove the magic covers, the glass shelf (# 167B in picture) will need to be removed first. It should just lay on top of the covers. There should not be anything holding it in place. With the glass shelf off, you can now lift the magic covers (# 168A) off the frame. I hope this will help you. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
