Thank you for choosing ManageMyLife.com. I understand how important it is to be able to get parts for your Bissell. I have found five model numbers close to what you have:
1653
1653 (1995)
1653-2
1653-4
16534
I was unable to locate model number 1653c specifically. Please visit www.SearsPartsDirect.com to look at the schematics of the above models. One of them may be similar to what you have. I'm sorry I couldn't be more specific with your unit.
If you have further questions please let me know. Thanks for using ManageMyLife.com.

Hi Terrie! I'm sorry about the confusion but after reviewing this question again, I noticed your email is a Canadian email.  If the Bissell was purchased in Canada, our US systems will not be able to pull any parts. Please contact our Canadian PartsDirect at 1-800-361-6665.

Thank you for choosing ManageMyLife.com.

Hi Desirea! Thank you for your help. I will give that number a call. In the meantime, I used some plastic glue to fix the liquid delivery cap and with the use of a towel under it, I am able to use my ancient but still functional Little Green Machine.

Q:

DISHWASHER LEAVES SOAP UNDISOLVED AND DISHES ARE NOT CLEAN

A:

When you don't have the convenience of your dishwasher it can be disappointing. Below I attached some links that will explain your issue in detail. A suggestion I have is to add your full and complete model number to this thread so an expert can provide you with a detailed response. I hope these links are helpful!

One thought I have is that the water is siphoning out during the wash. This can be a difficult problem to check since it does usually fill with water to start.

Undissolved soap usually means no water.

To resolve this problem first lets try the simple cycle. Select and run a rinse only cycle.

It should fill with the proper amount of water and wash for approximately 10 minutes before draining all the water out.

If the rinse only cycle works try the light wash or china wash. Let the unit fill up and wash. At the end of the wash cycle pause the unit and check the water level. Shut the down and let the cycle continue. After it drains and fill for the final rinse wait a few minutes and check the water level. It should be the same.

Check this and let me know what you find. You can reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance.

If the motor controller has been replaced and the treadmill will not go into the calibrate mode, the console should be replaced.

I am sending you an image with the calibration instructions. Be sure you follow the instructions.

The part number of the console is 236705, and the cost is $165.34. For this cost, I recommend you consider replacing the treadmill.

Hi Jimmy K, I did not get the calibration intructions yet from you:) If tit still does work after your instructions is if there is any option for my treadmill? Could be a faulty board that was sent to me? I cannot imagine as young as my treadmill is that I should now need a console. Thanks for your time

A:

Jennifer, I am sending the calibration instructions again. I apologize for the instructions not getting sent the first time. There is no way to be sure if the problem is in the new motor controller or the console. Most of the time if the console won't go into the calibration mode, the console has failed. I realize the console is expensive. It might be best to go to [http://services.sears.com/shs/category/repair?sid=MMLxexpertxmerch] and get a Sears technician to repair the treadmill.
