Q:

BUTTONS HAVE A MIND OF THEIR OWN WCVH6260F0WW Ge Washer

A:

Thank you for choosing sears I would be happy to help you with your microwave. Upon researching model LMV1630ST;  it sounds like the electronic control board may need to be replaced. The electronic control board governs the functions of the washer so when it fails it can cause the controls to be become unresponsive or out of order. I have posted a link of the electronic control board to view the link click here.

I trust that this information will help you, thank you have a great day.

I thought this was ask the expert. Apparently not, especially when the model number I provided as well as the title alone states that my unit is a GE washer. Your answer gives another model number not even in the ball park to the one I listed. And you want to help me with a microwave. I wouldn't call that expert help. Thanks for wasting another day of mine as I anxiously awaited this crappy answer.

My apologies for jumping the gun on my response. I was a little disappointed to see the whole microwave and model number that had absolutely nothing to do with my problem. But now that I have looked at the full response and saw the correct control board, I stand corrected and appreciate the time you spent getting back to me.

Q:

handle plastic part LMV1630ST Lg Microwave

A:

Thank you for choosing sears I would be happy to help you with your microwave. Upon researching model LMV1630ST; I have posted a link of the parts diagram that will show you the different options for the parts on the door that can ordered, to view the link click here. Thank you for being Sears’ valued member and for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com with your question about your microwave. I know what a time saver the microwave is and I am sure you want this issue fixed quickly.  In this case I recommend you have the microwave serviced by a qualified technician.

We do not give diagnostic or repair information on microwave ovens because they are inherently dangerous to service. Microwaves contain high voltage internal components that can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the microwave is unplugged from the power supply. Special equipment is needed to work on a microwave starting with an anti-static wrist strap grounded to the microwave to even test components in it. Even minor door repairs and adjustments can cause microwave leakage, and a microwave shielding leakage test MUST be performed using a survey meter after ANY/ALL microwave service.

For these safety reasons I strongly recommend having this repair completed by a qualified service technician. You can schedule service online at www.SearsHomeServices.com or by calling 1-800-4-MY-HOME (1-800-469-4663). Here at SearsPartsDirect.com we love to help you with your repairs, but our expert advice is that microwaves are just too dangerous for a do-it-yourself project.

I trust that this information will help you, thank you have a great day.
