Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be happy to help with your range. Upon researching model number CLY1620BDB; the pilot is underneath the burner shield. There is a wing nut that needs to be removed. Then remove the shield. The burner is the long tube under the shield. Click here for the diagram. The shield is key number 18.

Thank you for choosing managemylife.com.

There are parts still available for model 486244021, however, the blade assembly and a washer are no longer available for this model. My records show this snow blade was made in 1987, normally parts are discountinued after about 10-12 years. I would recommend replacing the whole snow blade attachment.

I hope this information helps you.

Thank you for submitting your question. I understand your concern and I will be happy to assist you. When the thermal fuse keeps blowing, it'll be due to a loose or bad connection and in some extreme cases the entire harness would need to be replaced. For further assistance with this repair, please reply bck to this thread with the complete model number of the dishwasher. The model number is usually located on the interior tube in the upper rear left corner. You can also check along the opening door frame. I look forward to assisting you. Thanks for your response. It's a Kenmore ultra dishwasher model # 15895791. Someone also told me it could be a heating element or the drive motor that could cause the thermal fuse to blow. Is this true and would it be cost effective to fix or replace? Thanks, Jim

A:

James, the heating element could cause the thermal fuse to blow if the ohms reading is too low. You can test the heating element with an ohms/volt meter to see if it has the proper continuity (16-20 ohms). The motor wouldn't effect the thermal fuse. I recommend checking that the wiring connection is good for the thermal fuse. If all checks good, then you'll more than likely need to replace the wire harness for the fuse. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with.
