Question and Answers

Q:

Is door handle a separate part? JVM1490BD003 Ge Microwave

A:

Thank you for choosing Searspartsdirect.com and being a valued member. I can certainly assist you.

WB15X10069 is the door handle part number.

I can appreciate wanting to diagnose and repair the microwave yourself, however I strongly recommend against it. We do not give repair information on microwave ovens because they are inherently dangerous to service. Microwaves contain high voltage internal components that can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the microwave is completely unplugged. You need special equipment to work on a microwave starting with an anti-static wrist strap grounded to the microwave to even test components in it. Even minor door repairs and adjustments can cause microwave leakage, and a microwave shielding leakage test MUST be performed using a survey meter after any microwave service.

For these safety reasons I strongly recommend having this repair completed by a qualified service technician. You can schedule service online at www.SearsHomeServices.com or by calling 1-800-4-MY-HOME(1-800-469-4663). Here at SearsPartsDirect.com we love to help you with your repairs, but our expert advice is that microwaves are just too dangerous for a do-it-yourself project.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter and I hope we can help you with any other questions and repairs in the future. Thank you for choosing Sears.

Q:

need higher resolution pictures 831153991 Weider Weider platinum xp600

A:

I posted 6 troubleshooting pictures below. Here is a direct link for the owner's manual in case you need it: Weider XP600 Owner's Manual. The first image shows a cable diagram. The second image shows a voltage diagram. The machine uses low voltage DC so you can check the DC voltages using a multimeter. Use caution when checking the voltages and avoid direct contact with live wires. The voltages and amperage used in that machine are not high but you can still get a slight jolt if you contact a live wire with that DC voltage. The third image shows technical information for the console that you can use for troubleshooting. The last 3 images show troubleshooting adjustments.
