Thank you for your question.

I can understand you wanting to fix your vacuum hose yourself. This is not hard if you know what to do.

First you will need two small pocket type flat blade screwdrivers.

Next locate on the hose the molded seam line in the rubber sleeve on the hose cuff.

As shown in the picture below, find the gap in the cuff where it meets the elbow and insert and slide the screwdrivers in about a 1 inch along the seam line on both sides to release the tabs that hold the cuff on.

Once released use both you hands to pull the cuff down the hose off of the elbow connection.

You will then see the wires that come from the hose connecting into the elbow.

Release the wires from there connection sleeves and release the plastic tab the hold the elbow to the hose.

Remove the elbow and cuff from the old hose.

Slide the cuff onto the new hose and install the elbow onto the new hose until it locks into position.

Re-connect the wires from the new hose to the connectors on the elbow.(make sure you have them into there respective locations)

Pull the cuff up the hose until it latches onto the tabs.

Do the same for the other end of the hose.

I have sent some pictures below to help.
