Q:

Limited Gas to burners 141.16228

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear of the issue you’re having with the low flames on the grill. I know how frustrating that is to have happen.

If the pressure regulator is freezing up then the tank was likely overfilled. If the regulator is not freezing up then it very well could be a faulty regulator or tank. The tank has a built-in safety feature that if a leak is detected the valve will automatically shut down allowing only a small amount of pressure pass by. The tank should reset by removing the gas line. After waiting a few minutes reconnect the gas line, open the valve only 1/4 turn no more. Light the burner farthest away first, then the rest, with all the burners on turn the valve another 1/4 turn only. If that doesn’t solve the issue, try shooting compressed air from an air compressor into the regulator and hose assembly, sometimes they can get clogged. However, I would try to unhook the regulator from the tank to reset it first. That usually works.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.
