I did not find that heat insulating ring (part number P06801007F) available as a separate part. It used to be available as a separate component but it does not appear to be available any longer. According to the manufacturer, that ring has been eliminated and is no longer needed when installing the replacement burner. You may need to replace that entire burner (part P02001008C). You can order that part from this page: Burner for Kenmore Gas Grill Model 141.16225 .

If you need more help, reply with additional details and we will assist you further.

If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician examine and repair the grill, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .

That model 119.161311800 does not appear to be a valid number. Here is a link for a Sears PartsDirect.com page that has all of the Kenmore Gas Grill models that begin with 119.161 . . .: Kenmore Gas Grills beginning with 119.161 . . . . I recommend that you check that page to see which model matches up to your grill. That may help you find the correct burner part and help you determine how to install the burner. I don't think that the burners on the model 141.16225 are compatible with the ones for the grills that begin with model 119.161 . . . The grills beginning with 119.161 . . . are manufactured for Kenmore by a different vendor than the 141.16225 model.

This information may help you resolve that burner problem. If you need more help, reply with additional details and an updated model number of your grill.

If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician replace the burners in that grill, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .

The regulator has a safety in it that will turn off the gas flow or turn it down very low. To reset the safety, disconnect the regulator from the tank for 5 minutes. Tap the sides of the regulator with a screwdriver handle and go through the "lighting the farthest burner" routine again.

If you still have the small flame, replace the regulator. Since regulators have been equipped with the safety valve, this has been a fairly common failure. I think you are right, the regulator is probably bad.
