Q:

Quantities per sku 141162231 Kenmore Gas grill

A:

Thanks for the inquiry Chris and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

The flame tamers are being sold individually for part number P01705002E. The (3) on the parts list means that there are three required, but they are sold individually. If the parts were sold in a three pack, there would be a dotted box or circle around the parts with a specific number pointing to the box indicating it is a set or an assembly. The same is true for the burners, part number P02001008C, you will need to order a quantity of three to receive them all.

Hopefully this helps and let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

Thank you for your question on the BBQ grill burners.

I am sorry that the burners you are looking for are that expensive. I have a Brinkman stainless grill and I decided to replace the grill because my burners where also very expensive from Brinkman.

So I do understand you dilemma.

Here is a couple of links that may be able to help you.

BBQ burners .

Grill burner .

Try this location it looks like there prices are a little better.

I hope this will help.

Q:

Where can I get detailed instructions for replacing the ignitor on my Kenmore mod 141.162231 grill?

A:

I am sending you an image that gives instructions for checking and adjusting the electrodes on your grill.

This image also shows the screws that hold the panel behind the burner knobs to the grill. To access the wires to the electrodes you will need to remove this panel. If a wire has frayed or saturated with grease all the spark will go through it to ground. The other electrodes won't spark.

You can disconnect the wires from the electrodes and place them where they won't short. Hold one wire 1/8 inch from a good ground with a pair of insulated pliers and get someone to press the ignitor. You should see a blue spark between the end of the wire and ground. If there is no spark the ignitor is bad.

Hi: I have the Sears Kenmore Liquid Gas Propane Grill Model 415.16113. I believe I have to replace the battery powered igniter. The thing worked well for a short time and then quit clicking and working. First thing I tried was replacing the batter of course. Tried to clean the batter holder area as best I could also but I believe i need to replace or at least service the unit. How do you get to the unit to look at it or replace it?. I don't see any instructions that steer you to that. Thank you.
