Thank you for your question on the BBQ grill not getting any fuel.

Is it not getting any fuel or not getting a high enough flame to cook with.

It certainly could be the regulator not letting the gas through to the grill.

Usually though it will let some through so I am thinking it could the nose of the connector for the LP tank is not pushing on the check valve on the propane tank.

When you thread the hose fitting onto the tank it should reach in far enough to open that valve. Have you tried a known good tank?

I would look at that first and then please let me know what you have found, and we can continue our troubleshooting based on that.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Most of the time the burner valve cover/support has to be removed to replace the ignitors. You are correct it is not the simplest of repairs. I have had some luck reaching the nut that holds the ignitor from the bottom. To save time I recommend cutting the old ignitor out with a hack saw. It is common that the old ignitor is rusted and the nuts will not unthread easily. I hope this helpful.

The comment on the ignitors was helpful. Do you have any suggestions for the support bracket for the burners (part #P02204161B)? I already have all the parts. I just don't want to start something I'm not equipped to finish. At one point I removed side shelf thinking I could also the side panel but I couldn't see any way to remove the panel so I had access to the area that holds the hardware for the support bracket.
