Q:

Door opener won't complete a cycle 139.53915D

A:

Thank you for contacting Sears. I will be more than happy to assist you with your Craftsman garage door.

I can understand the frustration of your garage not functioning properly, after researching model number 139.53915D. Since your door is moving and then coming back; that would be more of a safety sensor situation. I know you've checked them, but take the time to double check. If they are even flickering a little bit, they are not aligned and this will be the outcome of that. I have seen them positioned correctly and the when the door starts to move it shake them a little bit and that be enough to trigger the safety return. If you're completely sure that the safety sensors are aligned and not the problem I would say to check the force setting on your opener. If the force is not high enough the door can mistake this for an obstruction and return the door to its starting point.

I hope you found this information useful. Again thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business, have a great day.
