Garage Door Opener Range 13953673SRT3 Craftsman Garage door opener

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your garage door opener. Upon researching model 13953673SRT3: Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your lawn tractor. Upon researching model 917288515: This is not good. I would recommend checking the return springs. Make sure they are still connected. I have provided you with an image below that I have marked the springs with a red box. If the springs are still connected, I recommend lubing the brake arm pivots and the idler assembly. The pivots could be binding enough that the springs cannot pull the brakes hard enough against the pulleys to stop them. I like to use a product called PB Blaster. It will break up rust and lubricate the parts. Do not spry the belt. If the belt gets sprayed, quickly wipe the belt off. The other possibility is the cable hang up in the housing. You could try lubricating the cable but I haven’t had much luck doing this. The cable usually needs to be replaced. Please remember to remove the spark plug from the unit before attempting repair.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when having trouble installing parts.

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Craftsman Garage Door model number 139.53673srt.

1.  Check limit switch contacts may not be operating.  Remove cover and manually observe the switch actuator.  Check continuity of contacts.  Possible bad assembly.

2.  Check to see if trolley is disengaged into manual mode.  Reconnect for automatic operation.

3.  The travel limits may need to be adjusted.   Pull emergency release and check door travel to ensure that it operates smoothly.  If so, adjust travel limits.

Is the light flashing?  If yes have a code for the bottom.

1 flash is The protector system wire open or totally misaligned.

2 flashes is The protector system wire shorted and black/white wire reversal

3 flashes is Door control or multi-function control panel wire shorted

4 flashes is IR sensor slightly misaligned (dim or flashing sensor LED).

5 flashes is Motor overheated/possible RPM sensor failure --Unplug to reset

6 flashes is Motor circuit failure--replace RX/LX board.

Rapid Flashing The transmitter with the correct format code being received (opener not necessarily programmed to respond).

If you have further questions please let me know.
Thanks for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com
