I don't think you read my question carefully. Adjusting the limit switch does not change how much the trolley travels. I even pointed out how the travel limit switch when the contacts touch fails to stop the motor of the opener. That is what is supposed to happen. The travel limit switch continues to move beyond the contact that is supposed to shut down the motor. Moving beyond then bends the travel switch contact. Adjusting the limits of the travel switch will achieve nothing. I am reaching the conclusion that the logic board is what is at fault. How do I test the logic board?
