This may just be something simple besides a logic board failure. First thing is to make sure the disk/cub on the end of the motor shaft is in place and pushed securely onto the motor shaft end. Also, make sure the RPM sensor there is lined up, not dirty, and that the harness is good (no breaks or pinches).

If the sensor and disk look good then loosen the collar on the worm gear. Then push the motor shaft all the way forward. Now push the worm gear/collar all the way forward (against the bearing) and tighten the collar back up.

Now check to see if the machine is working as it should. Let me know what you find.

Thank you for using Manage My Life!

Q:

We have an old garage door opener-Part #139.53325SRT with a keyless opener-part #53776 with no enter

A:

1. Open the Touch C.ode Transmitter cover to access the key- pad. Decide on a 4-digit code number using numbers from 0 to 9. You can use a number more than once. (For example, 4, 0, 4, 1). 2. Press the 'SR' code button on the opener panel. The indicator light along side the push button will turn ON. 3. STAND AWAY FROM THE DOOR. Press the selected code numbers on the keypad and then press the ENTER key. The indicator light on the opener panel will turn OFF and the door will begin to move, The opener receiver has been programmed with your code selection. (_ NOTE 1" If the indicator light turns OFF before the 4 code digits and ENTER key are pressed, repeat Steps 2 and 3. NOTE 2' During programming, be sure the lock push button (if your opener has that feature) is OFF and the Infrared Sensor (if you have installed that accessory) is free of obstruction. THE DOOR WILL NOT MOVE AND THE INDICATOR LIGHT WILL NOT TURN OFF in either case. To change your code at any time, repeat Steps 1, 2 and 3. BATTERY: The 12 Volt battery should produce power for at least one year. As long as there is adequate power, the key- pad will illuminate and receiver will operate when code and ENTER keys are pressed. Replace the battery when keypad illumination becomes dim. If this does not work you will need a new keypad. If so go to searspartsdirect.com for one.

Thanks BB
