Q:

Garage door opener 139.18415 light 13918415SR Craftsman Garage door opener

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com and being a valued member. It is unfortunate to hear that you are having issues with your garage opener and I do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. I'm looking at your model number 13918415sr and I suspect a wire is disconnected or a bad logic board. To fix the problem unplug the opener and remove the cover. Next, check the wires from the light sockets to the logic board. The light socket wire connection on the logic board may need to be soldered. If you spot a cold solder joint on the logic board, it can be soldered to fix the problem. However, if everything is connected properly with good light bulbs and it still does not work, the logic board needs to be replaced. The part number for the logic board is 41A3625. Disconnect the opener from the wall (power source). Then remove the bulb and look to see if the center contact in the bulb socket is pushed down. If it is, use a screwdriver (or similar object) to bend the tab out a little bit and then replace the bulb and see if it's working. If it still does not work you will need to use a volt meter to check and see if power is coming from the board to the socket. I trust this information will help you.

Thank you for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com.
