Thank you your question.

The cable might not come with the instructions for installation. I should be able to explain the instructions to you.

  • Remove the cable from the bail arm on the handle.
  • Remove the bolt securing the cable housing to the handle.
  • Remove the spark plug wire.
  • Remove the belt cover on the front of the mower.
  • Tip the mower onto its side so the oil fill tube is down. This makes it easier to see where the cable connects.
  • Unhook the cable end from the transmission.
  • Use a pair of pliers to squeeze the cable clip from the bottom to remove the cable housing from the mower housing.
  • Route the cable in the same direction and reverse these steps to connect the cable.
  • Make sure to secure the cable to the handle with wire ties if needed.
