Q:

Same as model 122.1664.1901? 12216641900 Kenmore Gas grill - serial# without vsh or cw

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com and for contacting us with your question about your Kenmore gas grill model 122.1664.1901. I am so sorry you are having trouble locating the parts information.  I will be happy to help you with this.

When the grill is made for Sears, the model number will end in a zero for the first production. If the manufacturer makes any changes to parts on the product, the last number rolls up by one on the next production. This continues as parts are changed and more units are produced. This means that there are some part changes between the 122.1664.1900 and the 122.1664.1901. The model number change doesn’t tell us what parts have changed. That is why you should always order parts from your model number. I have included the link below for the parts diagrams for the 122.1664.1901 model.

Always order the parts using your model number. However, the owner’s manual information has not changed. Since the manual for your model is not online, you can use the manual for the 122.1664.1900. I have included that link for you also.

I hope this answers your question. Thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business.

Q:

Grill Problem 122.16641900

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears parts direct. I will be happy to help with your grill. Upon researching model number 122.16641900; propane tanks can only hold up to 80 percent of its capacity. One gallon of propane is 4.2 pounds. A full 20lb tank should have 4.7 gallons. 80 percent of 4.7 gallons are 3.76 gallons. 2/3 of 4.7 are 3.13 gallons. There would only be .63 gallons of propane after 2/3 usage. There are different things that can affect the gas flow when the tank gets that low. Air temperature can raise or lower the pressure. Gas regulators are sized by btu per hour. Pressure differences can affect the gas flow.  Lower pressure will cause lower gas flow. A 50,000 btu grill can have trouble being that a lb of propane is 21,600 btu. It take 21,600 btu to raise the temperature of one pound of water be one degree Fahrenheit. I would clean the unit and fill the tank. See if the unit has the same issue when the tank is at least half way. Also note tank temperature when issue is occurring.

Thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business. Have a great day.

Q:

How do you replace the temperature gauge on grill 12216641900 Kenmore Gas grill - serial# without vsh or cw

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your grill. Upon researching model 12216641900; the part# of the temperature gauge is 05001254A0. Usually the temperature gauge is fastened by a nut or it may have tabs to bend or push in. If it has a nut, remove the nut and pull the gauge out. If it has no nut it most likely will have to be pried out. I have posted a link of the temperature gauge to view the link click here.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.
