I am sorry in that it doesn't give us the belt size but I do have the part number for the belts for your vacuum which is 20-5275.

Thank you for your question on the worn base plate on the vacuum cleaner.

Yes this is your problem and it happened when the roller brush overheated and on the belt drive end from a dry of dirty brush bearing and go hot enough to melt the base.

I would not only replace the base assembly but also the roller brush, because once the roller brush bearing gets to hot it looses lubricant.

I would also suggest replacing the belt shifter kit. Shifter kit for vacuum .

Thank you for the prompt reply. Considering the vacum cleaner is 14 yrs old and the lower plate is $45 plus you suggest buying a shifter kit that I'm assuming will probably be at $20 -$40 more, I think I will just buy the Consumer's Guide/Reports recommended Eureka (Rated bettter than Dyson)@$120 to $170 brand new.
