This would be for the motor hook up on the outside of the wheel. I replace the power cord to the inside of the wheel.

I'd like to assist you with your vacuum power cord question. The case will have to be opened up and I have included an image of the exploded diagram at the end of this reply for you. There are several screws that have to be removed and I have circled their locations. After the case is removed, the self winder will be accessible. I have also included a diagram of that assembly.
