Motor cutting out after 2 minutes 11625513506 Kenmore Canister vac

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com. I regret to hear that you are having issues with your vacuum and do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. Im looking at your model number 11625513506 and usually if a motor is turning off after a few minutes of operation indicates a bad motor. If you let the vacuum sit for an hour or two it should work again for a few minutes then turns off again the motor is bad. I recommend opening the vacuum and check for blockage that could be causing the motor to over work and over heat. If you have further questions please resubmit your question for further information.

Thank you for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com.
