Q:

Can I replace a wheel 11623513300 Kenmore Vacuum cleaner

A:

Thank you for your inquiry on your Kenmore Vacuum, Model: 116.23513300. From reviewing the details on your model, as far as I’m seeing the wheel does appear to be replaceable. I have provided a link to the wheel below. As far as instructions on how to mount the wheels it appears that we do not have direct instructions on the assembly of the wheels.

Q:

Kenmore C vacuum bags. 116.23513300

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
It does appear the manufacturer has since discontinued offering the 8-pack of style C bags. I was able to find the bags being offered singly, and the part number is 50104E. Most of the manufacturers are getting away from the standard bags and transitioning to the cloth hepa bags, which may be part of the reason the multi packs are no longer being offered.
For convenience, I have included a blue link below that you may click on to be directed to the Sears.com to view and purchase the bags, hopefully this helps.

Hi Yadira, Thanks for the link, but it was a Hoover. I can change it out very simply on the Kenmore. The big ? is a "spring" included. Without it then it releases intermittently, no good! CP

Thank you for your question on the pedal release for the lower wand.

No it does not come with a spring. The spring tension is on the button in the wand and I am thinking that the wand button spring is weak or worn and does not have enough tension to stay in the hole on the swivel for the power mate.

Please remove the lower wand and see what kind of tension you have on the button protruding from the tube. It should be quite strong and protruding out fully the depth of the button.

If it is not then I would suggest replacing the button clip inside the lower wand tube.

Replacement button for wand tube on model 116.5353300 .

Also check the plastic tube in the swivel to make sure it is not worn so the button slips out.

Please let me know what you find out. Sam A.
