Q:

I need the parts diagram for the carpet beater (agitator ) attachment. 11622813200 Kenmore Vacuum cleaner

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

The PowerMate will have its own model number imprinted on the bottom cover. It will have a 5 after the 116 versus a 2. Based upon your canister model of 116.22813200, the PowerMate should be model 116.52813200. I have linked the parts list below for convenience.

Q:

What is wrong with a Sears vacuum model 116.22813200 when there is electrical power to the hose handle but no power at the wand end?

A:

If the Power Mate is not running but the handle is the most likely cause is an open overload protector. If the overload is open even the light won't come on.

If the agitator jams the the overload protector trips to protect the motor and belt. See the image below for how to reset the overload by pushing it back in.

If the overload is not tripped and the connections are good then it is likely the problem will be a wire harness or connection problem. This type of problem would be best checked by technician.

How can I get a repair manual or instructions to remove the motor housing on a Kenmore vacuum model 116.22813200?

A:

Repair manuals are not available for specific models. Most information about replacing most parts are in the owner's manual. The following link contains the owner's manual for your particular vacuum: Owner's Manual .

The image below contains the instructions for changing the cord reel on a similar vacuum.

I hope this information helps you complete this project but submit another question when any additional details for further assistance.
