Thank you for your question. I am sorry you are having a problem with the saw. I looked up the model you submitted. This model has a start relay that aids in starting the motor. If the relay fails, the motor will hum but not start. Before replacing the relay I recommend opening the switch box the houses the relay and on/off switch. Then use compressed air to blow out any sawdust from the switch and relay. Then check the connections on the switch and relay. If they are tight, go ahead and check the operation. If it still hums, turn the motor off and unplug it. Then turn the motor by hand. If the turns freely, the relay is likely the problem. If you have a volt ohmmeter, let me know I will be happy to assist you with checking the relay. The relay can be ordered from the following link.  Here is a link to order any parts you need. Sears Parts Direct. I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.   Mark

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I am going to borrow an ohmmeter from a friend, so I would appreciate info on how to check the relay. Kevin P.S. I previously opened the switch box. It is clean & the connections are tight. The motor does turn freely.

Sears Craftsmen Table Saw Model # 113299020. Motor starts and runs full speed but won't spin the blade. Blade turns freely both ways, and when spun by hand, spins for a long time. Any ideas?
