Q:

Where can I get part 69174 lower guide for Craftsman band saw 113.244512 or block of hard plastic or aluminum 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 to make the part??? 113244513 Craftsman 10-inch band saw

A:

Thank you for your inquiry on your Craftsman Band Saw, Model: 113244513. From reviewing the details on your model, it appears that the lower guide is no longer available through the original manufacturer. At this point in time, I’m not seeing a substitution part for this lower guide. Since we deal only in OEM parts once the manufacture has is as no longer available there would be no way for use to obtain this specific part. As far as finding a block of phenol or aluminum I would recommend you go to either a hardware store or a local dealer in metals.

I hope this answered your question. Thank you for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com, and have yourself a wonderful day.

I think you have 2 options for repairing the band saw. Parts such as the trunnion are usually made of cast iron. If you have the original part and it is broken, you can have it welded at a welding shop.

If the trunnion is missing, you might find a band saw to get parts from.

I am sending a link that has some older 10 inch Craftsman band saws listed on E-Bay. If they have the same trunnion, you might buy one.
