Q:

how to remove top band saw wheel? 11324201 Craftsman Craftsman 12-inch band saw

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

This usually requires a puller like a wheel or pulley puller. It will have 2 or 3 arms connected to a threaded shaft. The arms hook behind the wheel and then you turn the shaft to press against the axel, thus pulling the wheel from the back. You might have to check an automotive store to find one. This is a difficult job to do without the proper tools, and may be worth having a technician assist with the wheel removal.

If you would feel more confident having a Sears Home Service technician help assist with the diagnosis/repair, you can call 1-800-469-4663, or click here to be directed to the page to set up service.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.
