That appears to be a 1994 model machine. Looks to have been manufactured after June of 1994.

working with scroll saw model 113.236400 the problem just started, turn on the saw any speed and try to start your cut as soon as the wood hits the blade the saw turns off. you reset the switch on/off, saw back up running touch the wood to the blade and it stops. circuit breaker as changed it's referance. this must have been a problem in the past because you no longer use the same switch. please verify my assumption ralphd3g@bellsouth.net

It sounds like you have done a good job troubleshooting the scroll saw. We are not given wiring schematics for electronic control boards.

You can check with an electronic supply store for purchase of resistors and other parts on the board. They might have some information on the board that will help you.

Jimmy, I appreciate the information. I find it strange the control board is still offered as an available part for the saw from Sears, but no schematic is available. Can you provide the manufacturer of the board so that I can attempt contact with them? As far as the parts for the board, I appreciate the advice to go to Radio Shack. The problem lies as some of the parts are not marked with a part or reference number, therefore the schematic would at least provide a value for the part. Thanks in advance for any additional information that you could provide. Bob

Robert, I wish I could get the information you want. The saw was made for Sears by Emerson Electric. The manufacturers have never provided us with information such as where they buy electronic controls. Sears gives them the specifications for the tool and they buy the parts from different suppliers. I am sorry I can't help you.
