trying to download manual for model 113,232212 need to replace blades 113232212 Craftsman Jointer-planer

A:

Thank you for being Sears’ valued member and for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com with your question about your Craftsman Jointer-Planer model 113232212. I am so sorry you are having difficulty removing the blades to replace them. I will be happy to help you with this. Due to the age of this product, the manual for your specific model was never put online. The manufacturer does sell copies of it. I have included the link below in case you would like to order one.

I was able to locate an online manual for an earlier production of your Jointer-Planer. The maintenance and operating instructions should be the same. Some of the parts may have been changed but they should still function the same way. I have included the link below for you to view this manual.

SAFETY WARNING: Disconnect the power supply before beginning your repair to prevent the risk of electrical shock which can result in property damage, serious personal injury or even death. If you are not comfortable completing this repair, you can set up service at www.SearsHomeServices.com or by calling 1-800-469-4663 (1-800-4MY-HOME).

I hope this answers your question. Thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business.

Q:

Parts for a 6 and one eighth inch Joiner/Planer Model number 113.232212

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear that the linkage assembly has been discontinued for the jointer/planer with no direct substitute. I know how frustrating that is.

Since we no longer have the part in stock and the manufacturer isn't producing it, the only viable option would be to run an online search for the part number to find one in circulation or to have one fabricated.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your buisness.
