Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the drill press. Usually when I have a problem with the arbor staying in, it is because of oil on the arbor or the spindle. I recommend cleaning the arbor and inside of the spindle with brake cleaner. Then insert the arbor into the spindle. Once you have the arbor in, tap it in with a rubber faced hammer. This will usually cure the problem.
