Question and Answers

Q:

How do you install the casters on Model #113.197750 113197750 Craftsman Craftsman 10-inch radial saw

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

Unfortunately, due to the age of the table saw, the retractable caster accessory set (9-22209) has since been discontinued. The most recent part number would have been 9-22254 from the originals.

At this point, I would recommend viewing the available caster sets on Sears.com to see if there is anything currently available that could work. For convenience, I have included a blue link below that you may click on to be directed to sears.com to view and purchase any of the kits if applicable. They would just install where the leveling foot goes on the leg. However, with the OEM casters not available, there will likely be fabrication needed to make something work.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Q:

Wiring dilema! 113.197750

A:

Thank you for your inquiry on your Craftsman Radial Saw, Model: 113.197750. From reviewing the details on your model, it appears that due to the age of the saw the wiring diagram is no longer available or in our system. The only thing I could recommend is going to craftsman directly to see if they still have record of the saws wiring diagram.

I hope this answered your question. Thank you for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com, and have yourself a wonderful day.

sears radial arm saw thermal protector replacement instructions for motor model C48BC-102 saw model 113.197750

A:

Hello RJ01, a useful item that this Manage My Life website has is that it has most appliances manuals. The way that you can get to it is if you go onto the home page of Manage My Life click of the manual tab on the top, then a search box should come up. In that search box you can go ahead and write in the model number. Lots of manuals should come up and pick the one thats right for what you are looking for. I have attached a link below if you are interested in viewing the website. I hope you find what you are looking for!

To replace the thermal protector, you need to remove the motor from the carriage. With the motor removed, remove the covers necessary to access the thermal protector.

If you are not comfortable doing this job, go to www.searshomeservices.com and schedule service for a Sears technician to install the thermal protector.
