I am sorry to hear of the issue you're having with the wet/dry vac. I know how frustrating that is.

It will be hard to identify the source of the issue without testing the parts with a meter. It could be an issue with the rocker switch (part 832086), the motor (832627), or a loose wiring connection from the power cord (829719-11).

I can understand the frustration with the hose being stiff. After researching your model I'm showing there is not a replacement hose for this vac. Some customer's have mentioned using a hair dryer to warm up the hose before use. I hope this helps. Thank you for using ManageMyLife!
