It appears that the model number that you provided is slightly off. I suspect that you have model 113.177690. Here is the owner's manual for that shop vac: Craftsman Shop Vac Model 113.177690 Owner's Manual .

If that is the type of shop vac that you have, then you will need the filter that is part number 17816. Here is a direct link for that filter: Filter for Craftsman Shop Vac Model 113.177690 . You may also be able to find that filter at your local Sears Store or Sears Repair Center.

If you need more help, reply with additional details and a revised model number for your shop vac.

Jimmy K, After picking up the 3 piece adapter/connector kit fromthe Sears store in Dover, DE, trying to get assistance from a store employee, and getting information from another "EXPERT", I have found that Sears has only a 2 1/2" floor brush which neither of the adapters will fit. "EXPERT" Sam A finally let me know that Home Depot sells such a brush which should fit my 1 7/8" hose. I will stop by a Home Depot store and see if they have one in stock. I will have to return the 3 piece kit as it will be of no use. I just thought that I would let you know. The 2 1/2" to 1 7/8" adapter doesn't hwlp at all.

Thank you, Jimmy. Sears needs be accurate in their descriptions of such things as the 3 piece. You and I both thought that it meant a 2 1/2" nozzle could adapt to a 1 7/8' hose and vice versa. It was very misleading. I really have no idea what that one adapter actually adapts to or what it can be used for.

Sam A. That dry nozzle does not work. None of the adapters/connectors I bought will fit that nozzle. I don't want to have to buy a hose to fit such a nozzle. the hose on my vac fits the 1 7/8" brushes. I may have wasted my time and money on the adapters/connectors. I believe I will have to return them. Why doesn't Sears have a wide floor brush nozzle that directly attaches to my 1 7/8" hose?

Thank you for the update in the floor tool. I did find that the stock number use to be a Sears tool catalog item only. # 17289 but they are currently stocking this item. I did find its counterpart at Home Depot and their stock number is: 246026. I am sorry that we could not supply the part for you but I hope you will still be able to find it at Home Depot. I hope this will help you. Sam A.

Thank you, Sam. I got onto Home Depot's web site and did a search for 246026. That item is a RIGID floor brush for 1 7/8" hose. I will see if Home Depot has them in one of their stores. Looks like that should work. Thanks. I will probably be able to return the 3 piece adapters/connectors kit for a refund. In the meantime, i think that Sears needs to get their act together and update their information or get the proper tools in stock.

Thank you for the update. It will fit because both brand names are made by the same manufacture. A lot of times the buyers of the accessories continue the product by how many they sell in a year and if the threshold drops to a certain lever they will discontinue it. I am sorry that we are not currently carrying this accessory. They will also review the requests for this item and can reinstate the item for sale again. Sam A.

Sam A., When the description for the 3 piece adapters/connectors kit says it contains a 2 1/2" to 1 7/8" adapter, that does not seem to mean for the tools. It seems to mean for hoses. As I stated, neither of the adapters would fit a 2 1/2" nozzle brush. I feel that the information was completely misleading. Before I purchased the kit, another "expert" told me that it would work. And the Sears salesman in the Dover, DE store, although he assisted me, didn't seem to have any idea. There needs to be far more knowledgeable people.
