Question and Answers

Q:

Why does my Kenmore washer model #110,27831600 continues to trip the circuit breaker?

A:

Your symptom indicates a failure in the timer assembly. In order to resolve the problem the timer assembly will most likely need to be replaced. The timer assembly will sub over to a "NEW" timer and part number. It will come with a Clear Plastic Dial Skirt that will fit over the timer dial to prevent the timer from being rotated while it is ON. Timer assembly part# 280223. It can be ordered on line at Sears Parts Direct. I added the link below.

NOTE: There is supposed to be a piece of paper that says; “ALL PARTS IN KIT MUST BE INSTALLED" to prevent repeat failure.
