The parts drawing of that console is shown in the first image below. It appears that there are spring clips and screws at the bottom of that console (KEYS 4 and 14). The second image shows a photograph of that console installed. You may need to release that access panel to replace that console. I don't have a specific procedure for that task. You may be able to reassemble the console using the parts diagram and your personal observation of the components.

If you are not able to get the console back into place, you may need to have a service technician reassemble the laundry center. Here is a link for the Sears Service website in case you need it: Sears Home Services .

If you need more help, try to send us some digital pictures of the console and we will try to assist you further.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting  ManageMyLife. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your appliance.

Well, I am sure sorry that you think the earring was lost in the washer.  There is not a self-cleaning filter on this washer.  If the earring got out of the tub to the pump, and through the pump, it is gone.

I am going to send you some directions to remove the top panel and front panel to slide the washer out of the cabinet.  This will allow you to remove the agitator and the inner basket, allowing you to check the outer tub which has a tube attached going to the pump.  If the earring is not inside of the outer tub, then you can check the pump by pulling off the hoses and looking inside of the pump with a light. The pressure is pretty strong on the pump out, and with luck the earring will still be in the outer tub.

Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. We are always here to help.

Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.

Bill

Thanks Bill. We tried your solution. Unfortunately, the diagram is slightly different than our machine and we couldn't get the agitator off. I did feel it was a lost cause, but had to try! I didn't hear anything moving around either. Thanks again
