Q:

manual for dryer 110.97591220

A:

I understand how important it is for you to have the owners manual for most of your appliances so that you will know all of the useful information you need to keep your appliance properly maintained and I will be happy to help. While you are waiting for an expert answer, I know that only the expert can provide you with a wiring diagram. I did manage to find a link in where you can enter your model number and your owners manual will pop up: http://www.managemylife.com/mmh/owner_manuals. I hope my link is useful.

Thank you for your question.

I have provided you with the instructions for replacing the belt below. I have also included the wiring diagram you had asked for. Please make sure to unplug the dryer before opening up the dryer for service. I also recommend wearing gloves because some of the panels have sharp edges.

Here is a link to order any parts you need. Sears Parts Direct .

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Thank you for using Manage my life.

Q:

Dryer does not start 11097591220 Kenmore Gas dryer

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Based on you symptom and details, it sounds like a faulty timer. The small electronic control board has nothing to do with the motor running. The thermostats will also have nothing to do with the motor circuit, only the heating circuit.

In order for the dryer to start in the "Time" cycle, timer contact BK and BU, GY and WB, BK and R, and T and W must close and remain closed during the "Time" dry cycle. I added an image below of the wiring diagram. At the top of the wiring diagram is timer contact chart showing which contacts are open, closed or doesn't matter for each cycle. You can disconnect the timer connections and check each contact to see if they are open or closed using an Ohm meter to see if it measures continuity or not. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
