Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Thank you for adding the model number of your dryer to the thread.

If the exhaust vent is clean and the outside vent cap is not restricted or blocked then I would suspect weak solenoid coils which are mounted on top of the gas valve assembly.

There is small square plastic inspection cover located below the dryer door. Pry the cover off in order to watch and monitor the glow bar igniter and burner. Pull up a chair and set the timer to "Time" dry and set the temperature switch to High Heat and start the dryer. Look through the inspection hole and watch the operation for at least 10-15 minutes. If you see the glow bar igniter glowing bright red and then fading off without burner ignition, this would indicate weak solenoid coils and both solenoid coils will need to be replaced.

I added a YouTube video with instructions on how to access and replace the solenoid coils. The solenoid kit will come with both solenoids. The kit is part #279834 which can be ordered from SearsPartsDirect . NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing your dryer.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
