Dryer won't run it lights up but doesn't start 11095876402 Kenmore Residential dryer

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears
I am sorry and do understand your frustration when having trouble with the dryer.
Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Kenmore Dryer model number 11095876402.
First thing for safety and concerns to keep dryer running well is to check the lint screen and vent of air flow going out of the house.   If clogged up it could cause heating problems on any dryer.

If you haven't cleaned the lint out, it could be around the motor switch and other places to cause trouble.
To prevent a Blocked Vent Hood, once a year:
1.  Clean any lint blockage from the exhaust vent hood.
2.  Make sure the vent hood flappers move freely.
3.  Check for screen/grate openings that allow bird or rodent nests.
4.  Replace exhaust vent hood if damaged.
5.  Check for good air flow while running the dryer.
Note: Poor airflow or decreased airflow indicates further vent system cleaning is needed.

If the drum light does turn on, I recommend that you push in on the door switch and see if that drum light turns off when the door switch is depressed. If it does not, then a bad door switch is probably preventing your dryer from running.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter and I hope we can help you with your future questions and repairs.  Thank you for choosing Sears and using our

How do I replace the outer door glass on my Kenmore gas dryer model number 110.95876402?

There are no written instructions or complete teardown images that I have access to. I have included illustrated instructions detailing the door reversal procedure. Follow these and when it comes to the section that advises you to remove only six screws, you will need to remove all of them. I hope this helps. If you require further assistance please resubmit question with details of what you have done. I will be looking forward to helping you again in the near future.
