You did not mention that you are having any problems with the dryer running and heating properly. If you have a component problem in the dryer that is causing the lights to flicker, it will usually not heat or run properly. I am showing that this is a gas dryer. Try plugging the dryer into a different outlet if possible for a short test. Use the washer outlet and see if the lights still flicker. If not, then you will likely need to have an electrician check the outlet and the circuit.

If the problem is being caused by the dryer, you could have a loose wire that is shorting to the cabinet. You could also have a problem with the motor. I recommend that you have a service technician check the dryer if the flickering of the lights is not caused by the house electrical system. Thank you for the info on possible problems with my dryer. It is not heating all that well. I will try using the washer outlet and see if that solves it. I am having the service technician come out next week and will have him check for loose wires a component, or motor problem, as well as the house electrical system. If he cannot solve it, I will contact an electrician. Either way, I will post a reply as to what the problem is. Thank you for your help.
