Q:

Drying time 11095089400 Kenmore Elite Dryer

A:

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when there is trouble with the dryer.

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Kenmore model number 11095089400.

First thing for safety and concerns to keep dryer running well is to check the lint screen and vent of air flow going out of the house.   If clogged up it could cause heating problems on any dryer.

To prevent a Blocked Vent Hood, once a year:

1.  Clean any lint blockage from the exhaust vent hood.
2.  Make sure the vent hood flappers move freely.
3.  Check for screen/grate openings that allow bird or rodent nests.
4.  Replace exhaust vent hood if damaged.
5.  Check for good air flow while running the dryer.
Note: Poor airflow or decreased airflow indicates further vent system cleaning is needed.

There are 3 items that I would look at.   First behind the blower you will find a thermostat and a thermal fuse.   I would check both of those out with a meter.   Next thing I would look at is next to the blower is a pair of coils that come together.   Check both of them out and see.   On the coils you can usually see if they are burnt or scared.  You can also feel them to make sure they are perfectly cylander with not scars.

If all this is well then need to check the wiring going into the control board.   Make sure there is no bare, no burnt, or loose wires there.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter and I hope we can help you with your future questions and repairs. Thank you for choosing Sears and using our SearsPartsDirect.com.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Besides replacing the orifice; the pressure regulator on the gas valve assembly must also be converted back to natural gas. Remove the brass cap on the gas valve assembly and remove the blocking pin and reinstall the brass cap.

I was not able to locate the LP conversion kit instructions.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Q:

What do I need to stack my Kenmore dryer on top of my washer?

A:

Stacking the dryer on the washer is pretty simple. You will need a stacking kit part number 8541503. The kit will include two brackets, 4 mounting screws, and an instruction sheet. Basically you just set the dryer on top of the washer and attach the stacking brackets to the back of the washer and dryer to secure them.

Order the stacking kit and read the instructions before attempting to stack the dryer.
