Question and Answers

Q:

How long is the regular cycle.... 11094572200 Kenmore Compact washer

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your washer. Upon researching model 11094572200; the cycles should be approximately 14 minutes, 42 minutes is too long for the cycles on this unit. It sounds like the timer assembly may need to be replaced. The timer governs the cycles of the washer so when the timer fails the cycles can take a lot longer to complete. I have posted a link of the timer (control board) to view the link click here.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.

Q:

Why is my Kenmore portable washer leaking out the bottom in the front of the washer from a clear tube? Is there a diagram for my washer?

A:

Thank you for your question. Mystery leaks, and in this case a loose mystery hose raises questions. I think you have a loose or broken pressure hose. The picture looks like you may have already opened the washer. If not, Remove the screws on the rear of the top panel, lift slightly & push forward to release. Carefully open the top up & inspect the top shield assembly #40 in the controls and rear panel diagram at Sears Parts Direct  That has the nipple and pressure hose attached to it.  The pressure hose is key #9 in the tub diagram. Without this hose, the washer will not fill or drain. If it needs replacement, it is part #3430159.  If further help is needed, please reply.  Thank you for using Manage My Life.

The images below may be helpful to you. The agitator is held in place by a screw located on the bottom of the agitator between two fins. The screw is part key 3 in the image below. I hope this helps. You can reply with any additional details for further assistance. To remove the basket you will need to loosen screw part key 7. Loosen but do not remove. Remember to unplug the washer first.
