Question and Answers

Q:

Washer won't start...just beeping and flashing lights 41748102701 Kenmore Washer

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your washer. Upon researching model 11092597410; you can reset the unit by unplugging the washer power cord for 5 minutes and then reapplying the power. If the problem persists then you may need to replace the electronic control board. The electronic control board governs the functions of the washer so when it fails it can cause the washer controls to become unresponsive. I have posted a link of the electronic control board to view the link click here.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.

I'm having the same exact issue. It just started out of the blue. I have unplugged the washer and after 5 to 10 minutes plugged it back in. It will stop the lights from flashing and the beeping (3 beeps same as last person). But while sitting with no use or attempted use will start to flash and beep on its own. I'm assuming it's the electronic board but curious as to what caused this. The washer is in a private home with a temperature controlled environment (dedicated wash room) and has not been abused in any way that I'm aware of. Being an Electrical Engineer I'm tempted to troubleshoot and report back to you. What disturbs me is the rate of replacement noted in the "cart" page, seems rather high.

Q:

Lid switch replacement 11092597410 Kenmore Automatic washer

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your washer. Upon researching model11092597410; Make sure to unplug the washer before attempting any repairs.

Your model washer has two end caps on the console that need to be removed to access the screws holding the console in place.

Once the console is in the service position, you can remove the clips securing the cabinet.

Tilt the cabinet forward and lift it away from the washer base.

Then remove the screws securing the lid switch. #Remove the wires from the retaining clips.

Install the lid switch in the reverse order.

Make sure to reinstall the cabinet onto the front of the base then tip the back into position. If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website:
