Question and Answers

Q:

What causes the water to leak from the bottom? 11092595510 Kenmore Residential washers

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your washer. Upon researching model 11092595510; I recommend checking the drain hose and the inlet hoses on the back of the washer. The hoses can leak over time which will eventually drip down on the bottom, if one of the hose is the problem part it must be replaced.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the washer. I have looked up the model number you have submitted. This is a 3.2 cubic foot model. If the washer is located near a floor drain, you can lover the drain hose to the floor and the water will drain. If you do not have a floor drain, I recommend using a wet/dry vac to remove the water.

Do you think this can be repaired or should I just recycle it? I love the washer and its layout is so much better than the new ones.

Thank you for your reply. If the control is not responding I suspect the problem is with one of the controls. I would estimate the repair cost to be around $229.00. If the touch pad is the problem, it is no longer available. Due to the age of the washer and some parts no long available I recommend purchasing a new washer. I would hat for you to have the washer fixed and then something else fail. The link below will take you to the washers we sell. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
