Question and Answers

Q:

The knob on the timer just spins and doesn't engage. Is it possible to change the knob without replacing the timer? 11092593210 Kenmore Washer

A:

Thank you for contacting Sears. I will be more than happy to assist you with your Kenmore washer.

I can understand the frustration of your washer not functioning properly, after researching model number 110.92593210. the knob is replaceable however, if the issue is with the timer shaft purchasing a new knob wouldn’t fix the issue. There are little gear like teeth inside the timer knob these are likely stripped and no longer engaging with the timer. The part number for the white timer knob is 3362625. If you have an almond color the part number for the timer knob is 3362624.

I hope you found this information useful. Again thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business, have a great day.

*Safety disclaimer before you try and repair the unit make sure the power supply is disconnected. There may be sharp parts to the unit that can cause injury to you if not careful.
