Question and Answers

Q:

washer won"t spin 11092591400 Kenmore Washer

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect. I will be more than happy to assist you with your Kenmore washer.

From the information you have provided above, there could be a few parts you will want to check. First would be the washers lid switch. it acts like a safety feature, so if the switch is damaged it will not engage the spin cycle. Next, I would suggest checking the motor coupler. This part engages the motor to the transmission allowing the washer to spin. Lastly , it is possible you have a bad clutch. The most common part would be the lid switch.

I hope you found this information useful. Again thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business, have a great day.

A:

The top doesn't come off. With the console raised the entire cabinet can be removed. The top doesn't come off by itself. The image below will show how to remove the two clips holding the cabinet. The console must be raised to access the two clips. Remember to unplug the washer first. I hope this helps. You can reply with any additional details for further assistance.
