Question and Answers

Q:

no hot water into tub 110.92583210

A:

Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your washer not working properly. We are here to help. The washer not getting hot water has several causes. They are as follows:

1 The hot water faucet is turned off. Turn on the faucet for hot water. Also, check for a kinked hot water hose. If the hose is kinked straighten it out.

2 The screen is clogged. Turn off the hot water faucet and remove the hot water hose from the washer. Next, remove the screen inside the mixing valve and clean it. After you cleaned the screen reinstall it, the hot water hose and turn the hot water faucet back on.

3 The timer or harness may be bad. The cabinet needs to be removed to access the mixing valve. Next, turn the washer on and select hot water. Now, while the washer is filling with hot water, measure for 120 vac with a multimeter at the mixing valve. If the voltage is present and there is no hot water, the mixing valve is not opening and it needs to be replaced. However, if the voltage is zero at the mixing valve, the timer or wire harness is bad. To determine which part is the problem, trace and ohm out the wire from the mixing valve to the timer with a multimeter. If the wire reads about zero ohms, replace the timer. Otherwise, the wire harness is bad and needs to be replaced. The image below show how to open the cabinet. I hope this helps.
