How do I access the inside of my Kenmore washer?

On this model the complete cabinet slides off the frame. Please see the step by step directions with pictures in the images provided below.

It does not matter what side you put the wires on the sensor. The wiring diagram has the orange/white wire on terminal 5.

I recommend removing the cabinet so you can see everything inside the washer. Please see the image provided on removing the cabinet & accessing the inside components of the washer. Check the pump & hoses for leaks.
