Q:

Kenmore washer not draining after wash cycle 110.92272100

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com and being a valued member.  I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your washer will not drain.

There can be two parts that can cause your washer to not drain. The lid switch and the drain pump. You will need to test both parts to determine which to replace.

Test the lid switch with a volt/ohm meter and you can check continuity across the two terminals on the switch. The circuit should show open and closed as the lid is open and closed. If you have no meter then the lid switch can be bypassed to see if it is the problem. The idea is to remove both of the wires from the lid switch and join (jump) them together with a small wire. With the lid switch bypassed you can see if the washer will drain and spin. If you bypass the lid switch and it runs in the drain and spin mode then the lid switch will need to be replaced. 285671 is the lid switch part number.

If it is not the switch then the next part would be the pump itself.
3363394 is the pump part number.

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more than happy to assist you.  I can understand any frustration you may have experienced with regards to your unit. Let’s see what we can do for you.

From what you have told me I’m showing that it’s the timer. The time is what advances the washer to the next cycle if you’re stopping and not advancing into cycles that timer would need to be replaced. The timer part number is 661597.

Hope this information has helped you. If you are not comfortable doing this repair you can click here to schedule a technician or call toll free 1-800-469-4663. Again, thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com.
